who are we?

Sewing Machine Specialists was started by my father Tommy McGuire in 1965. Over the years we supplied industrial sewing machines to companies such as Levi Strauss and Alexandra Workwear. At the start of the millennium we diversified into industrial embroidery working in conjunction with Keith Mansfield and GS UK. Now we offer sales and service of industrial sewing and embroidery machines.
We are based in Kirkintilloch where we have machinery on display for demonstration.

Service & Maintenance

We cover the whole of Scotland, providing routine maintenance and response to emergency break downs. Currently, we now have 2 engineers and are able to respond quickly to your needs. We carry out most repairs on your premises, but on occasion we may need to carry out more extensive work at our workshop.

Our delivery service will have our expert deliver, install and train the user on how to use it.

Machines can come with either 1 or 2 years manufacturers warranty, depending on the brand.
